A MILFORD MUSICAL LEGACY Together with the Milford community we are on a mission to enhance Milford as a vibrant center for the arts. Milford is located in the heart of Pike County, the fastest growing county in Pennsylvania. Milford is already home to the “Black Bear Film Festival”, “Art after Dark”, and the “Milford Music Festival”, which celebrates the diversity of music and performance. The Anglican community has traditionally prided itself for being a beacon for spiritual growth through the appreciation of music. The Church of the Good Shepherd is committed to following that tradition and to bringing a new dimension to the musical experience currently available to our community. The Church of the Good Shepherd is acquiring a 25 rank pipe organ from the Schantz Pipe Organ Company. A Schantz Pipe Organ has a sound that is unique and unparalleled. We anticipate that our organ, with its strong, rich, bright sound and every option an organist could desire, will provide a unique musical experience to the entire Milford and Pike county communities for generations to come. This effort is both an investment in the future of our community and our legacy to future generations of music lovers who will follow in our foot steps. |

We urge you to join in our effort. Donations and contributions, however small, will be gratefully received. Our supporters are encouraged to contribute under the following categories. Contributions of time and talent are also greatly appreciated. We plan to have an engraved plaque acknowledging donors.
Checks may be made to Good Shepherd and St. John’s Church. On behalf of all the people of Milford, Pike County and the Church of the Good Shepherd, we thank you. We hope to see you soon at music and art functions in Milford.
